NATIONAL PROGRAMS
The purpose of Classroom Cuties is to give back to underprivileged and less fortunate children in our community who need assistance with heading to school for the first time or heading back to school. Unlike the common "back to school" drive you maybe familiar with, Gamma Lambda Phi Sorority, Inc. breaks our giving up into two categories in order to better assist with community needs.
During the month January, we will "Get Back to the Basics" by focusing on new children in need as well as re-establishing the basic school supplies that each student may still be in need of.
During the month of August, our focus will shift to our main focal point, "Get Ready for Kindergarten". These young minds will be the star of our national event. This event takes our up and coming kindergarten students and provide them with everything their small minds need to start their very first year of school. Along with the basic school supplies every child needs, each student will receive 1-2 grade level books, a small coloring book and a congratulations card for being the amazing students we know they will become.
The homeless community and those that are considered vulnerable are at risk in our communities. Gamma Lambda Phi Sorority, Inc. has taken a stance to help those in need during the summer months by providing them with water and any other necessary items needed.
